[resolved] Logos 6.3 Crashing on Startup
Downloaded the update this afternoon. Every time I attempt to open it, it crashes within a couple seconds. Running OS Yosemite.

Doesn't seem to be attaching my log properly. I get to the attachment window, select the file created by Logos Logging Utility, but when I click "insert" nothing happens. Here's what I get when I just drag and drop...

2.3 MB according to the Get Info window. I'll try again...

The address is wrong. Are you using the paper-clip icon to "Insert Attachments/Media"?

Just ran the whole thing again to generate a whole new log. Same results. Here's the new archive zip

This is a Mac-specific crash related to font settings. We should have an updated version of the application available very soon that fixes this problem. I know our Mac developers were hoping to have a fix out earlier today, but some issues came up that delayed the release. Unfortunately, I'm not currently aware of a workaround for the problem.

So ordinarily updates and downloads are handled through Logos. But if I can't even get it to launch, how will know when the fix is release? Is that something that I'm going to have to come back and search the forums for?

A new release is announced at the top of the Logos 6 Forum, similar to the current one for 6.3.

- We will post back to this forum when SR-1 ships (hoping for early this afternoon... but that's not a promise)
- We are aware that this is an issue we didn't address in 6.3 and we are actively working to address issues where an early crash doesn't allow users to auto-update.
