Steve,
I'm on a similar setup (except running the L6.4 beta) but I couldn't reproduce such behavior.
I'm not tech support, but have you tried reindexing the LDGNT? To do this type "reindex LDGNT" into the command box and hit enter. Search results skipping AND false hits sounds like an index issue to me, but again...I'm not tech support!😉
Thanks for the suggestion Reuben. I re-indexed but still see an error with a false hit at Mt 14:1.
But at least now I know about this capability should I hit similar issues in the future
Blessings, Steve
I'm not sure if you've tried this yet, but it might be a better solution than ctrl + F. Right click on any instance of the LD marker, select <> LftDislocFr in the right hand side of the context menu, and then run an inline search in this resource. You can then define your reference range, if you want, to just look at Matthew 12–14. That pulled up ~16 hits for me. Screenshot is below for reference:
Jacob,
That's the exact functionality I was looking for originally - thank you! I'm a relative Logos Noob and still largely ignorant of even this most basic stuff.
Steve
You're welcome! Sorry that that didn't help. You could also execute "rebuild index" which would do your entire library, but as that is quite computationally intensive you might wanna try any other suggestions you get first, or even call tech support.
Shalom!

The full-text index isn't used for Ctrl+F/Cmd+F Find, so running "rebuild index" or "reindex LDGNT" won't be of any use.

Steve, you'll find the search features virtually endless, if you really explore. I personally Love the "inline" option which is actually new in L6. There is a small section about it in the help resource, which includes a link to a short video as well. I haven't seen this mentioned, but if you want to simply type into a search (instead of using the context menu) you can of course use the magnifying glass icon to the right of the resource panel, but you can also hit Cmd+Shift+F (which opens it in the active resource).
One clarification is that you need to be in "Bible" or "Morph" searching (not "Basic") in order to input a verse range.
The full-text index isn't used for Ctrl+F/Cmd+F Find,
Thanks Bradley, that's good to know!

Glad I could be of help!
