Just updated to 6.4 SR1 but it is crashing on startup

I have tried the ctrl on startup and got to the blank screen. Then I clicked on Home to see if the stuff would load OK and I get the error and the app closes. I think I got the logs attached.

It's crashing on the Home Page when loading Faithlife Notifications. It could be temporary as it works for me, but try starting Logos with CTRL key held and login. You will get a blank page but you should be OK to load a normal layout.

Yes as long as I do not go to the Home button and page it seems to be fine. Bibles come up. Search works. As soon as I click on the Home tab. I pasted this new one because it appears that the number of resources changed since the last one. If I get tired of using the ctrl key and avoiding ever hitting the home page would it help to re-install this? Will I have to re-download all those GB's of files?

messed up my screen shot but the resource count showed 39 items rather than 3.

Just found the option under Program Settings to change the start up page. Changed to blank layout and the error goes away. Will just have to stop using that default home page. Now I won't have to keep using the ctrl key.

I am having the same problem. Changing the settings so that it opens to a blank page is a good bandaid solution for now.

Well done! Retry Homepage and if it still crashes contact Tech Support (it works for me).

6.4 SR-2 has just shipped, which will disable the Faithlife Notifications section while we address the issue. This should fix your crash.

I am having the same problem with a crash on opening the home page.  I tried to update with the 6.4 SR2 today but I get the message that my Logos is updated and SR2 will not do a direct install.

Please create a new thread. Are you on windows or mac? What do you mean by "SR2 will not do a direct install"? Are you getting an error message?

I am experiencing the same problem on Windows, but the solution proposed here isn't working for me. If I hold down CTRL I get the login prompt, but the application still crashes before I can do anything. Is there something I'm missing here?

I've also now reinstalled the Verbum package (which is v 6.4.0.58, so the latest 'fixed' version I understand) but the errors continue and I'm unable to use it.

Any suggestions?
