Everything has downloaded and indexed, but for some reason I don't see the Septuagint Manuscript Explorer. Is this anticipated for a future beta release? It was included within the release notes for Logos Now.

This:

Corresponding Words Visual Filter

A new Visual Filter that highlights all instances of a word on hover. This is useful for quickly picking out repeated vocabulary (and other word info factors) in all open resources.

  • Added support for the “Surface”, “Lemma”, and “Root” options. (More options coming in a future beta.)
  • With the visual filter enabled, hovering over a word highlights it and all words with all of the same specified properties.
  • If the “Corresponding words” is enabled on other panels in the current layout, the words are also highlighted in those panels, if visible.
  • New filter is off by default

looks very nice. Kudos!

Thanks for catching this.  This is something we established the framework for in Beta 1, this interactive will be released in a future Beta.

Naturally this was the first thing I tried. But the second one - corresponding words is very nice ... I like the compact view of the visual filters too.

yep LXX lovers like me were searching everywhere frantically sorting the interactives by "last updated" over and over again.  Can't wait!

How recognizable. I have been looking at this feature too.

I love this kind of inter-actives.

The beta update is not downloading automatically for me, or with Update Now.

Is there a direct link to the installer?

Not to get your hopes up too much about the Septuagint Manuscript Explorer, but here are some pictures. I think (hope) the plan is to release to beta with the next set of resource releases.

Note that pointers to manuscript images are much less common in the LXX Manuscript Explorer than the NT Manuscript Explorer. The NT relies on existing, open data that has all of those pointers. There is no such equivalent for the LXX manuscript world. At present, we have links to some images at the Vatican and also at the Bodleian; I think we'll get links to some manuscripts at the British Library before we ship (but maybe not in the first release). These links are simply to the museum/institution page for the manuscript, when known; navigation within manuscripts is not supported and you're on your own with whatever the institution provides on the page.

You won't see it until 6.6 beta 2 is downloaded (or you have a resource that can't update without restarting).

wow, speaking of textual criticism I guess I committed Homoioarkton at the word "your"

Homoioarkton is an omission caused by two phrases that begin similarly.

I'm hoping that the Corresponding Word visual filter is a step towards a Sympathetic Highlight visual filter (i.e. hovering over a word in one translation would highlight the same word in another translation, or more importantly from/to the original text)

Something like that, yes. But word specific rather than corresponding words specific. Similar to the Greek/English text section in the Exegetical Guide.
