I'm using version 3.0g under Windows 7. Will this run under Windows 10?

Basically, no. But you can upgrade to Logos 6 for free, and it seems to work pretty well on Windows 10.

If it 'works' with Internet Explorer 11 then you might have a chance of it running in Win 10.

Scott, I'm still using Vista with L3g so I'm very interested as well. I strongly encourage you to be a guinea pig and test this out.

Please be sure to report back with your findings!

Scott,

I have not been used Libronix 3.0g for a long time.  Since you asked I startup Libronix 3.0g on my Windows 10 desktop, it seems to work. Screen shoot below as evidence Smile

I have tried Passage Guide, seems to be OK, but, I did not test it extensively.

However, you may need to consider moving on to Logos 6, where you can get support from Logos should you run into any difficulties.

Thanks. Keep me posted on issues. I'm not quite ready and I may buy a new machine reloaded with W10.

I still had it on my computer when I upgraded to 10. I never really used it anymore and decided to delete it, but I can confirm that it was running on 10. I did not try all/most functions.

Hey SineNomine, How does Logos 6 differ from 3.0g? The buy options seems to be all yearly licenses not purchases. I found a download site with the warning, "Logos Bible Software 6 may contain additional menus and features you will not have access to without a Logos 6 Base package Upgrade. While not required for basic use, an upgrade is strongly recommended." I really like what I have in 3.0g. Will I continue to have access to the resources I own with Logos 6? Thanks.

I did not use 3.0 and can't comment on this... but the software is always free... you pay for resources and data sets. If you want to download the software for FREE, see the link in my signature line.

Ok, that's great. I have a number of great commentaries and translations I bought way back in the 90's. I just want access to them and 3.0g works fine for me. If 6.0 works the same or similar, that's great.

In the fundamentals of opening up books and basic searches, it's the same but with a different set of menus and an updated graphic interface. It does, however, have a lot of features (even in the free version) that Libronix lacked. My suggestion is that you try it and play around with it.
