I cannot open/start Logos. Here is the log file.

There was a bug introduced a few weeks ago which has tricked in since that time. Your log folder doesn't have a logos.log file, but I think I have a solution for you:

  • Please delete the application from the applications folder (don't worry, you won't lose your notes & resources). 
  • Download and manually install the newest engine (see link in my signature line). 

Please let us know if that works for you.

Out of curiosity: Have you updated to OS X 10.11 yet?

Thanks. The re-install was the ticket.

No, I've not updated to 10.11 yet. I'm waiting for a few more bugs to be worked out. I will in a few weeks.
