How do I separate out my wife's fiction in Logos & Vyrso please?

Hello
Is there a quick way to ONLY show my wife's fiction books in my copy of Logos (also my vryso books please)?
Also, is there a way to seek out only those free fictional Christian books Logos and/or Vyrso offer occasionally please? I might like to add more later if they become available please?
Thanks.

Note to self - create a separate Faithlife account if purchasing fiction books.

I prefer to not have fiction in my Logos environment (with classic fiction the exception). Just about all the Christian fiction freebies Vyrso has are available at Amazon as well, so I get them from there instead. I've had to contact Faithlife CS on a couple of occasions to ask them to delete Vyrso fiction freebies I picked up in error.

I catch many of the Vyrso fiction books in a collection with the following:
(fiction OR novel) AND ebook

You could remove them from your Library yourself by "hiding" them - https://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books

I'm aware of 'hiding' but I prefer that they're gone totally [:)]

I made a decision way back not to bother with most fiction in my library save for what I got in Noet. It's difficult enough to read what's in my library and determine whether it's fiction in the light of God's Word: John 17:17 .

I grab most everything when its free, and often take the "One free - one more for 99 cents", but I'm not sure why in some cases. I'm way past doing it so it looks like I have lots of books!
As others have answered, careful use of tags and collections lets you slice and dice however you like.
I've been using the Favorites feature too, but that does not directly answer your original question.
What I love about have lots of books is that I can often find a few good reads on most anything that takes my interest, or need, or sometimes just something to read so I can leave the TV or the Playstation off another night.

Wayne and others....any way to go in and only pull a list of JUST the fiction for my wife please?
I got dozens of freebies for her to read but "(fiction OR novel) AND ebook" not sure how to make this work.
How do you save the resulting list please?

The very first response by Mark to your original post gives the answer. You must tag them. You could use syntax like this: edition:e mytag:fiction

I should have added: Since ALL of the books you want her to see are Vyrso books, start by filtering your library for them (edition:e). Then you can go through the smaller list (rather than your entire library) and find the fiction books you want to tag (with "fiction" as in my example above).

I created a Logos user voice request some time ago to have the same hierarchy and filtering options inside Logos that we already have in the Logos and Vyrso shops:

I tag such books as "Lynn" which is my wife's (nick)name.

I think you may have meant to say "tag" rather than "take".
I also do the same sort of tagging for my wife.

You may let other help you, though: if you use tag:fiction you'll get all those books that others have tagged as fiction (so-called 'community tag'. Note there need to be a minimum number of such tags per book, I think it may be 5, so tag:fiction will give a couple of hundred hits in my librarty, tag:lynn comes up empty).
I personally use this from time to time to see whether I forgot to tag a Vyrso freebie. You may check the titles or descriptions: While community tags by nature may not be complete, they also can be wrong or different than you like it to see. There are e.g. some things I prefer to tag differently (allegories, parables) and some I have tagged biography that a number of users tag as fiction.
Have joy in the Lord!

Note: this collection rule has several false positives: e.g. real stories. Vyrso descriptions have a variety of words.

I know you have already received a lot of good answers, but I think the simplest way is to go to your library list and sort by "Edition" (you may have to add that column by right clicking the Library header bar) . All Vyrso books are "eBook" editions while all Logos resources are "Logos" editions. You can see exactly how many Vyrso books you have and then click on "eBook" to get the complete list.

It is easier to click. [:)]
using the syntax edition:e does the same thing, but will hide everything else. This is <slightly> "less easy," but is much more powerful in that you can add other search parameters as well.

Unfortunately, I think we all have fiction in our Logos libraries. It was sold to us as non-fiction, though.

Ah, thanks! Good to know. That is probably a better way to do it, then.
