Is there a way to force Logos4 to always use just the abbreviated names of resources in tabs? I prefer NLT, for example, to New Living Translation, etc.

No, it's done automatically based on the number of tabs open.

Mmm - that's what I feared. Maybe Logos will introduce the option further down the road. Thanks anyway.

While there is no toggle button to change all the tabs to abbreviations, it can be done on a resource-by-resource basis. In Library you can click on the info view (lower case i with a circle around it) and change the name of the resource (in bold print) to the abbreviation you want. So if you have just a few resources that you'd like to see displayed this way, that is an option. (In the example below click on the little pencil and change the name to NET.)

Good call Mark, I had forgotten about changing the primary title of a book.

I think the idea of having a toggle switch choice to display title or abbreviation is the way to go, however.

Me too. I think I would end up confusing myself looking for full titles when I had made the abbreviation the primary title. If I were to do this I would make the secondary title the full title just so it would show up in the Library under its "proper" name.
