Opening Logos causes it to crash while the opening screen loads.

Welcome to forums, and sorry you're having trouble!
Have you tried opening to a blank layout? To do this, click the Logos icon then immediately hold down the Cmd key until you get the log-in window. Select to "work offline" and see whether it still crashes.

Zip file shows older Logos 6.7 SR-1 being used on OS X 10.10.5; Logos 6.7 SR-1 was released on 18 Nov 2015.
One idea is replacing Logos application with the current 6.8 SR-1 stable version (released on 22 Dec 2015):

If crash repeats after replacing Logos 6 application, suggest contacting Faithlife Technical Support => https://www.logos.com/contact
