Did you install the update already? Silly question, but it usually takes Google more than a few minutes for new builds to become available, and you replied just 7 minutes after the announcement.

Downloads are fast, but auto updates still don't download/install and the window for them (opened from the Home screen) has no buttons/etc. to download/install.

Logos Android 5.1.0 RC1 (1/4/16)
I have two devices:
- Moto X running Android 4.4.4
- Nexus 7 running Android 6
On the Moto X, local ("offline") resource loading is better, but still slow. It seems to load a few pages and I can scroll easily through those pages, but if I scroll beyond those few pages, it take time to load again.
On the Nexus 7, offline resources do not load at all. Instead, I get a message that says "Could not load offline resource" with a RETRY button and a toast that says, "Navigation Failed."
I removed the resource from the device, opened it again online, and it came up, although it was slow. I re-downloaded the resource and it did open--slowly. But any other local resources still would not load at all.
Let me know if you need more info.

I'm not quite sure I understand. This is what I'm seeing, are you seeing something different? https://monosnap.com/file/gv7dqMEZ7NfSWkjKwhyu0AwuH4NgpO .

Steven,
Is this issue still occuring? I've been unable to reproduce it. Did this issue occur with a particular resource or will all previously downloaded resources? Also, did you recently upgrade from version 4.6.5 or did you upgrade from the previous 5.1 beta version?

Home screen
Click on Resources to Update and I get:
Scroll to the bottom and still no way to start the updates
These resource updates never load by themselves either.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of that panel, is there a download link?
Nevermind, I missed what you said in between the screenshots. I'll see if I can reproduce the issue.

Thanks Kevin.
Happens with devices (tablets) I have running Android 5.0 and 5.1.1

We think we've tracked down the problem and hope to have a fix in the next beta release. Thanks for the report!

Yes, this is still occurring. I happens all local resources that I downloaded in the past. If I remove a resource and re-download it, the problem goes away.
I have upgraded through each of the various beta versions, not directly from 4.6.5.
Let me know what else you need.

Okay, I'll ask the dev team tomorrow about this. Occasionally problems like this occur after updating through a cycle of beta versions, as we've been changing some underlying Library code. I'm not sure if this is something we can fix but I'll check. I know you've found an issue but you might be the only one that sees it because everyone who is a non-beta tester will be updating from 4.6.5 to the latest beta version (when it becomes stable, that is).
I will let you know what I find out tomorrow, and will try to reproduce the issue going from 4.6.5 to the current beta version.

A new build (04210 I believe) downloaded and installed this past weekend.
Issue I reported with auto updating of resources appears resolved.
Thank you Kevin.
