Thanks for the logs, we are looking into this currently.

Thanks for the report, Don. You caught two bugs with this. Both will be fixed with an upcoming beta release. One was a problem with applying resource patches (obviously). The other prevented the system from falling back to downloading the full resource file when failing to apply a patch. These failures will not have a negative side-effect beyond the resource not getting updated. After the fix ships, you can use the "update resources" command to reattempt to download and apply the patches.

Glad you found them! I just did a SCAN of a folder on my other 6.8 install which did not have the problem and they updated fine.

Would this also cause new resources not to download? Bought 5 books from Vyrso and only one downloaded....

Wouldn't have thought so, this is an issue to do with updating resources.

No, it would not. This only applies to resource updates in the beta.

hmm...ok, I get a download message that it is downloading 301.2mb of updates, but I can't tell what is downloaded and nothing appears to be updated or downloaded and I am missing 4 books that I purchased. Once it is done downloading I get no notifications from Logos that anything is wrong and the indexer does not start. Here is logs if they show anything....

Ah ha, I was mistaken. You are indeed running into the same problem, and it does apply to new resources. This should be fixed in the next beta.

Same issue. Just got off the phone with Customer Support as I didn't realize it was a beta issue. Have some resources I ordered today that I could really use for sermon Sunday. Any update on when the next beta will be released?

It won't be released until next week. Use your stable installation to download the resources, then you can "scan" them into your beta installation.

I bought 5 Vyrso resources earlier today and 3 downloaded and installed while 2 of them keep downloading but they are not installing. I will assume this is the same thing everyone else experienced and will be fixed in the next beta.
