I have noticed the following problem for some time now. I keep hoping the next upgrade will make it disappear, but it is still happening as of 9.6 6.9.0.0029. When I open up the About Logos tab, I cannot use the mouse wheel to scroll through the information. If I use the slider I can move down the information, but as soon as I release the slider it moves the information back up. The problem is annoying but not critical. Anyone have any thoughts? I'm running Mac OS X 10.10.5.

I am not experiencing this using my MacBook's trackpad. Perhaps it is some setting from the scroll wheel? Have you played around with those settings?

Any reason you haven't updated?

Thanks for responding, Alabama. The problem exists whether I use the Apple magic mouse (with no scroll wheel) or my Logitech mouse. There are no settings for the scroll wheel by the way. I haven't updated to El Capitain because I have no pressing reason to and the reviews of it are mixed to say the least.

With the caveat that I use the track pad rather than a mouse might I suggest that an upgrade to the latest OS is more likely to solve your problem than an upgrade to Logos.

You will note that, firstly, yours is the only current report of this problem; and secondly despite all you read in the reviews the percentage uptake of El Capitain is quite high. Once the initial his-cups with Logos were sorted there have been very few OS related problems from the Mac users.

I have always held that one of the main reasons for going the Mac route with my computing has been the fact that I can ask for support knowing that my system is the one Apple recommend that means I never hang about much upgrading the machine that I rely on for day to day work.

Thanks, Mike. I took your advise and updated to El Capitan. It has improved the problem but not eliminated it. Thanks again, Mike. I alway appreciate your comments.

Now to see if you can get a track pad off ebay. Once I got used to it I wouldn't go back. It makes moving between the desk top, the macbook and the iPad easier too.
