I am not a pastor but have been a Logos user for over 10 years.  I use the color coding and highlighting in bible study and create topical passage lists from the highlighting.  I also have a my favorite verses passage list.  Yesterday, I tried to add a verse to my open window for my favorite verses and it would not accept it.  I rebuilt the index and it still would not work.  I have had similar issues with highlighting on several occasions.  I wish Logos would work on the usability and stability of their core operating system and just enable the application to perform properly.  I treasure my Logos bible and software but I am frustrated with their customer service and lack of attention to fundamental operating system issues.

Do you mean you were trying to add a verse to a Passage List and you couldn't?

Is it still not working?

How were you adding the verse?

I went to my passage list where I have "My Favorite Verses" and under "add passages from", I typed in Psalm 5:3.  I then hit sort to make sure it was not out of order and also saw that the verse count list did not change.  I tried it 3-4 times yesterday and then rebuilt the index and then turned off the program and rebooted and tried it again this morning.  It still will not add it.

I typed in Psalm 5:3.  I then hit sort

Did you press "Enter" before clicking "Sort"

What happens if you try adding in the reference in the box outlined below

That worked.  Thanks for your help.

I still wish Logos would focus more on their core operating system.  It's awesome in terms of what it can do functionally, and they increase functionality consistently.  I just think there are bugs that are carry overs that they do not spend much time on.

Thanks for all your help.

Todd

Glad it worked

But strange it didn't work the other way. It works fine for me entering the reference where I think you were originally

What version of Logos SW are you running and on which platform?

Understand - and its an area of regular debate and discussion.

You are welcome

Todd Doshier:

Logos version 6.9 on the Mac.

its important to be specific. For example: the current version is 6.9 SR-1, and OSX is at 10.11.3.

Alabama - can you reproduce what Todd is describing?
