NELSON'S NEW ILLUSTRATED BIBLE COMMMENTARY-Titles Not Showing in Pop-Up Boxes
In Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Commentary, the TITLES are not showing in the POP-UP BOXES (In Focus, In Life, In Content, etc.). It is just white, you cannot see the TITLE. The TITLE BOX should be black, and the TITLE should be in white writing.
Is there a reason as to why this is happening?
Can anyone give an explanation please?

I am seeing the almost the same thing. I see the Title but it is a clear white against a very light almost pink background.

You might invoke Alex's name as he may be using a tool that watches for his name ... or since faithlife emails are predictable, you might try to see if he has a standard email address.
Or you could you selection and right click to prove that the text is there but because it is ina white font you just don't see it ... then report it as a typo.

Thanks MJ. Smith but I would not report it as a "typo," as there would be way too many typos to report in this commentary.
Can you give me Alex last name , so I can look up his email address? I do not know who Alex is.....
I have right-clicked and the text is definitely there.

When a typo is systemic you only need to report one and say in the note that it is systemic. I never remember how Kyle spells his last name so try a Google search on Kyle site:community.logos.com

Unless you have downloaded a new version or your computer is failing, I'm quite sure the resource is unchanged. [;)] Come on, have a little patience ... for all we know Kyle is on vacation, out sick, at a conference ... you get the idea.

Although I was sick that's no longer the case, my only excuse is that I missed this thread during my daily scans of the forums.
Beyond that, I have two questions/comments:
1. What system are you running Kenute? I'm on a PC/Windows 10 and am unable to replicate your screenshots. The white on white that you are experiencing should be white on black. The resource hasn't been updated in quite awhile so I'm wondering if something is happening on the app level.
2. This is a very old resource that hasn't been updated in a long time. I recently approved it for a substantial update. Owners will be seeing a substantially improved version of the resource--including how the call-out boxes are formatted. We've significantly changed (i.e. improved) how we handle the formatting of cases like this.

Thank you for responding so quickly Kyle G. Anderson. I am on a Windows 7 Desktop Computer. It was showing up white on black, and then all of a sudden it changed. If you read all of this thread, you will see that I am not the only one who is experiencing this problem with this resource.
Am very happy that there will be an update coming on this resource. I have not received the update as yet, so there has to be something else going on here.
Am very happy that you are feeling much better and recovered from your sickness.

We haven't updated this in quite awhile and the forthcoming update won't be available for a few months.
All this leads me to believe something is happening on the desktop level. I'll be working with the desktop team to explore what is happening.

Yes. I will. I think we have a fix for that lined up but I'll be checking with mobile.
In the meantime, it is available on biblia.

6.11 is being tested and should probably ship to all customers in a few weeks.
Assuming this problem has been fixed in this release then it should be resolved then.
I am running the beta but don't have the resource so can't check it.

I should also mention that the fix you see in 6.11 is an application fix.
We will also be doing a scheduled resource update to update typos, links, etc. I don't have an ETA on when that will be completed.
