Does anyone know if this set, about to be published, will include artwork?  I have read the description numerous times and cannot tell.

I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.

I was assuming that it did from the day I ordered it but now you are making me wonder.

The description states these volumes contain pictures. Considering the age of the oldest works, they would not likely have anything in color. The most recent of the volumes might have some color. Looking at some of the sample pages provided, I saw some drawings and pictures.

Can be hard to say... my family Bible from 1879 has some colour plates as well as numerous wood cuts. So there may have been many colour plates, which would be artistic reproduction rather than actual photos. But I  also remember seeing many early colour shots which in fact were B/W photos painted.

i finally some some minimalist ones as well. i'm hoping for more.  Even at my community pricing price, though, I'm banking on copious pictures, starting to think there are not much.  I really didn't see that much in descriptions that said they contained pictures.  Where did you see that?

That was a copyright issue. Copyright doesn't apply here. I'm sure the images will be included.

You can find these books online at various sites.  I notice that there are illustrations in the text, what I would call pen and ink drawings of art work.  I assume they would be coming over when the books are converted.

Here are some links to PDF's of these:

This was helpful, thank you!  I cannot speak for the quality of the writers--how accurate or helpful it is--but it looks like the art is a mixed bag.  Some poor quality drawings, some better ones, and a few (few!) full-color ones.  I need to decide if this is worth 18 bucks or not.  I suppose the searchability is a factor that is helpful.  I had originally thought this set might be useful for a) my art-loving daughters, who could search through it for themes/art of interest. and b) for powerpoints.  B) looks a little dubious right now.  a) . . . yeah, not sure.  I will probably keep it, but am still on the fence.  When they download I will be able to assess finished product.

That said, I already have Word and Icon, Images of the Saints, Verbum Treasury of Sacred ArtChristian Iconography, (to name a few) all of which have good media, and more what I was expecting.
