Hawaiian Pidgin Translation (with sample image of text)
Someone sent me a link this morning with this picture from a social media site. I thought some of you would find this interesting. I had no idea pidgin bibles existed. I doubt Faithlife will be making this a pre-pub anytime soon.

Here is the official website for the translation: http://www.pidginbible.org/

I've not seen this before but it is interesting. I believe I remember seeing a couple of other versions that were quite similar in nature to this but I can' quite recall where.

It is a very legitimate translation. I know the lead translator (Joe Grimes) very well.
If there is desire to get it in Logos I can definitely make contact with him

I hope I didn't make the wrong impression. I was certainly not mocking this translation. [:O] However, I must admit it took me by surprise. Had the same feeling of surprise when I first encountered the Cotton Patch Gospel as well.

I definitely did not take it as a mocking [:)] A lot of people here in Hawaii are actually surprised when they find out it is a legitimate translation from Greek.
