New & Improved Logos Now Membership Program Coming Soon

We will be relaunching Logos Now as a membership program soon, with more member benefits and access to exclusive content and offers. We’ll share the program details as part of our initial public announcement, coming soon.
In light of the coming changes, effective August 8, we will no longer offer monthly subscriptions or free monthly trials for NEW memberships. The new program will require annual membership. If you are a current monthly subscriber, we will continue to allow monthly subscription renewals to Logos Now and Verbum Now through the end of the year. As of January 1, 2017 monthly subscribers will be given the option to renew annually and enjoy the equivalent of two months free when compared to the price of subscribing month by month. Monthly auto-renewals will cease to be an option at that time.
If you are currently a subscriber to Logos or Verbum Now, either monthly or annual, you don’t need to do anything. You will automatically be a part of the new Logos/Verbum Now membership program and enjoy all the current and new benefits membership has to offer. If you’re currently a monthly subscriber and would like to switch to an annual membership prior to January 1, please call 800-875-6467 or email customer service and we'd be happy to switch you.
If you haven’t yet taken advantage of your free trial, this is the perfect time!

"Coming soon"... As in today or Aug 8? Will the details be posted on the forums or somewhere on logos.com? Since my annual subscription renews soon, I'd like to know what is going to be different before it auto-renews.

Neat. I'm a monthly guy so I'll see what this brings and switch later

We hope to roll out the new program on Monday. We'll have new pages on Logos.com with details. I'm sure there will be discussions here as well.

An annual subscription is equivalent to two months free when compared to the price of subscribing month by month. You can make that switch today and save yourself some money.

Are you credited what you have already paid or does your year start from date of switch?

There is no credit for any monthly subscription you've already paid. We would add an annual membership to the end of your monthly subscription.
If you’re currently a monthly subscriber and would like to switch to an annual membership prior to January 1, please call 800-875-6467 or email customer service and we'd be happy to switch you.0 -

It's coming soon, though. Slow prepubs, surprise CP items finally going into production and changes in Logos Now to make way for new features for Logos 8 while the old features of Logos now get sold as part of Logos 7 haha

It has been hinted that Now subscribers will get a discount on L7. They don't want someone getting that for the cost of one month, then cancelling. Very exciting signs of good things to come!

Don't forget this.
I remember those note ++ files where I had to translate the English text to Spanish. Tedious work, but paid good in Logos book credit

Would anyone at Faithlife be willing to deny that Logos 7 will be released on Monday?

Thanks Chris - I'm looking forward to what will be proposed for Logos Now. To date, as a consumer I've not been disappointed with the new features and the work that has been done for Logos Now. My thanks also for the improvements which we have enjoyed. Keep well. Paul

I've been quite happy with Logos Now. It's definitely one of the better things that's come out from FL in the last year or so. I use the different interactives and datasets only intermittently, but I've most enjoyed the preview resources, especially some of the expensive academic ones that have scratched certain theological itches I've had. Between getting to read some of those and other offers and discounts that have come through, I feel I've gotten my money's worth.
I hope one of the things that comes out is an acceleration of the development of the web app. That's the one thing that's been a bit of a disappointment.

It has been fun, hasn't it? Everything is a sign that L7 is coming soon, and nothing is a sign that it isn't. [;)]

I used Logos Now for a couple months and found no reason to keep it really. And as for L7, without a revision to the payment plan it won't matter much to me.

IIRC every major version has been released on a Monday - so the staff has the weekend to get things into place. So I'll bet you 1 brownie point that Logos 7 will be released on some Monday [:O]

That's a good point. I just hope whatever releases Monday doesn't leave out the monthly people or gives us a chance to switch for whatever benefit comes

Well, then - I have a serious question. I have been contemplating upgrading to another base package. I really want some of the resources in the upgrade. Should I wait, knowing that there may be 'improved' packages in the near future or will I lose out if the revamped packages remove some of the the things I really want?

In my experience, there hasn't been much overlap between them so the particular resources you've had your eye on could very likely NOT be included in the 7 package.

You should get it now, imo. You do have a window where you can return a purchase... Furthermore, having a "bigger and better" package may give you an upgrade price to a future package.

I have already checked with Wiki Leaks and Julian Assange. I know exactly what is going to happen.
Out of courtesy I will withhold the information.

I think the release date of L7 is categorize as Top Secret, Classified. As such, unless you can get into Hillary's private email server (you know - the one that doesn't have any classified information on it [wink, wink]), we wont know a thing in advance. [;)]

I believe FL is West Coast based so we probably won't see anything until 800-900 PT

There was a change:
No one can purchase Logos Now from a month to month basis anymore (as described originally - haha!). This is the only change I see from earlier (search "logos now" and you'll see the top two options. One of them being a greyed out $8.99/month. Earlier this was still a live and available option, but now it is not).
Gonna say L7 will wait for another day (hopefully not a subscription based program, though!).
