I tried to start logos, but it won't start. Each time, windows shut down program without giving explanation.
please see attached logos logfile. 5557.Logos4.log
People, would give me some support? I have posted this more than 8hours.

I'm sorry it is taking folks so long to help you.
Perhaps if you were to use the word "crash" or "crashes" instead of "closes" it might get their attention?
I did look at the log, [Logos 4?] and it seems to quit in the middle of an operation, but I do not know enough to tell you why.
Have you added any resources recently? Has there been any "download" from Logos?
Can you at least try the following?
Hold down the CTRL key while you click on the Logos 4 icon. Keep
holding it until a screen comes up asking you how to proceed. Choose
the option to open to a blank layout. Then instruct the program to sign
on as usual.Let folks here know if that worked.
Also let them know what Operating system you are using and as many of your computer specifications as possible. This might help.

Actually the error might be here since it comes up twice:
2010-03-04 05:55:19.1790 13 Error OurApp Unhandled exception: System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The key was not found in the collection.
at Wintellect.PowerCollections.ReadOnlyDictionaryBase`2.get_Item(TKey key)Checking the Wintellect.PowerCollections online it seems they are extensions to the Windows NET framework. If this is so then something that Logos is expecting to be present is missing. Unfortunately we don't know if this is part of the NET framework from Microsoft or something Logos loaded in during the loading of Logos Prerequisites or the install.
All I can suggest is that you uninstall Logos completely using the Control Panel. Uninstall both Logos 4 and Logos Prerequisites that you will find there. Then reinstall the program either using the DVD (if you got one) or from here: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/Installer/Logos4Setup.exe
This will result in Logos needing to re-download your resources. There is a way to save yourself from that. See the third recommendation here: http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

I just did a fresh install using method #3, the setup log had no errors, and now I am getting this keynotfoundexception as soon as Logos 4 (beta 12) runs (I really never did anything with it other than let it finish indexing). I reported it at this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/12836.aspx?PageIndex=2
but that might get buried as an old problem.
I am dead in the water now. What a day...

The problem appears to be due to bad metadata - see Bradley Grainger at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/12836/100743.aspx#100743
Try starting L4 now. If not successful rename your LibraryCatalog\catalog.db and KeyLinkManager\keylinkmanager.db files and start L4 (you can revert to the original files if you rename them eg. catalog.old).
The path to these folders is C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\2cr3ld5a.bjm\ (use Control
Panel | Folder Options to View hidden files and folders).Dave

Delete the folders/files within C:\Users\Dan\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\lrd53wbd.hgy\HomePage\ (this is a hidden folder so make sure you can view them from Control Panel | Folder Options). Restart L4.
