I just installed 3.0g on Win 7 and there is no home page button and it won't bring up the"Bible Reading Plan" dialog.  Do I need to re-install?  I loaded all of my resources from my CD's so they work just fine.  It will even bring up my old saved work spaces, although with a blank home page.

Thanks,

Mike Distefano mike_distefano@sbcglobal.net

From the menu click Go>Home>[home page] ("Home is on the bottom of my menu"). I don't know why the home page button isn't on your system, but you could also try right-clicking on the menu bar and choose the "standard" toolbar and see if it comes back. Or you could customize your current toolbar to include the homepage button.

Hope this helps, if not, report back.

Didn't work.  There is no Home on my Go menu or the standard menu.  Also my reading plan won't come up.  I'm thinking there is something wrong with the install.

Yes there is. It sounds like you installed 3.0g from scratch, rather than as an upgrade. Is that what happened?

If so, you'll have to reinstall all your licenses. To begin with open your account manager and do synchronize your licenses. After you've done that run these scripts (and restart LDLS after running them):

Update LDLS Addins

http://www.logos.com/media/update/LogosAddinsAutoUpdate.lbxupd

Update LDLS DataFile types

http://www.logos.com/media/update/DataFilesAutoUpdate.lbxupd

Update LDLS Resources
http://www.logos.com/media/update/ResourceAutoUpdate.lbxupd

After you run these you may also need to reinstall any homepages you have from 3rd party companies by inserting their CD's into your computer. You may need to do that to get the Libronix standard home page by inserting the LDLS DVD.

You can do most of your installs of your Logos stuff via running scripts on your order history page found here (presumes you log in to the Logos web site with the same ID that you use in Libronix).

https://www.logos.com/user/MyOrders

Just click on the order# and follow the instructions, or scroll down toward the bottom of the page and start working your way down.

The scripts have to be run one at a time, and Libronix won't register the changes until you restart the program. But you don't have to start Logos after running every script. You can run as many of them as you want. However, if you run the same script before restarting Logos, you may download the same stuff twice.

Thanks Richard.  I ran the scripts and still no menu item for my home page but my bible reading plan now works and that's the most important part.  I'll keep trying.  I really appreciate your help.

Thanks again.
