ESV Maps -- missing?

That would be sweet especially if they track with you while you are reading.
I think its a different ESV package that offers them though.

I think you may have misplaced expectations as to what the images in a text resource might be able to do.

I suppose it's possible that the edition in Logos is not the Digital Edition? Seems counter-intuitive. Especially since it talks about the maps right there in this edition.

Maybe my memory is failing, but I remembered ESV as having a nice set of maps. Though I like NET's better.
I checked Libby, and she sadly shook her head ... no maps. File date 2011. Back in those day, Libronix Research Systems put a huge TOC in the book info panel, and indeed there's a link to maps ... the paragraph describing the valuable maps.
Maybe they're in the study Bible?

Eventually I will get to applying links to the Bible but for now this is what I have.

You have a point. Clearly listed in the TOC. The Study Bible has them listed and they are present in that resource. It seems to me that they should be present in the Digital Bible as well. Someone from FL should comment.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

Try this personal book that I made.
If those are ESV Study Bible maps linked, then it won't work for me as I don't own the ESV Study Bible.
In this thread, I am curious if something has been over looked in the production of the base ESV resource. These would be different maps than the ones in the Study Bible, and should be at the end of the ESV text.

The ESV Study Bible has excellent maps. I bought it in Logos and I have the huge desk copy of it as well.

I agree with Todd and Beloved. If a text is reproduced into the Logos format and is claimed to be that text, then the whole book should be provided. It is not good enough to leave anything out unless this is advised to buyers at the time of sale. In my view it would be an insufficient answer to point to a different book (eg., ESV Study Bible) which may have what is missing. It would also be insufficient to answer that this is not the "Digital Edition" containing the maps when the text within the book indicates otherwise.
I'm sure that Faithlife would want to address the matter of this omission. Keep well Paul

A tradition at Faithlife?
Pictures and maps are not included in some resources for whatever reasons (reduce costs, that's what they got from the publisher, etc.). I think its Marketing department should point that out.

Most frequently the publisher does not own the copyrights on these materials ... each owner must be tracked down and contracts drawn up.

Thanks so much John for the great job on this book. Works really great!

The article referencing maps should have been removed years ago. They're something we didn't have the rights to include.
Future updates will have the mention of maps omitted. I've requested marketing to update the product page.

Hi Kyle,
The reference to the maps is in the resource itself, not on the product page. (Well, maybe on the product page as well; I've not checked that...)
