BUGS: Inconsistent results with tag in Copy Bible Verse. WIN 7.3 RC 2 (7.3.0.0031)

When using the tag in Copy Bible Verse, the results are different in the CBV tool, Notes and MS Word (in Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 ver. 16.0.7466.2038):

  1. In the preview section of CBV: The book name is not subscripted in preview section of CBV.
  2. Manually paste (CTRL-V) results in Note file: The book name is properly subscripted, but the line before the subscript tag is also subscripted.
  3. Manually paste (CTRL-V) results in MS Word: The whole line is subscripted.

My expectation is that all three results would be consistent with the syntax used in the template. (Please let me know if there is something wrong with my template syntax.)

(I've had similar problems with inconsistent and unexpected results using the tag.)

(Please let me know if there is something wrong with my template syntax.)

I can reproduce this - and the syntax you are using looks fine to me.

    Tim,

    I'm looking into this.

    1. This is a bug in the CBV UI preview (because we use OpenType features for subscripting, but our UI font doesn't support that for non-numerals). I've created a case.
    2. This appears to be an error in the conversion of your CBV markup to Rich Text Format. I've created a case.
    3. This appears to be a separate error in the conversion of your CBV markup to HTML. I've created a case. As a workaround, you can Paste Special > RTF in Word, but you will still have the subscripted underline (bug #2).

We fixed the subscript issue for text outside of the tag.

Hi Philana.  The superscript works perfectly - Thank you.

The subscript pastes properly to notes and MS Word, but their preview in the Copy Bible Verse tool looks like: (Mk 5:3).  The letters of the reference are not reduced like the numbers.

    Hi Tim,

We only were able to fix the one issue, the preview issue is still an open case.
