Multiple Bible translations displayed with mouse hover?
Hi everyone,
Was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out with this one. I want to be able to replicate this functionality in Bibleworks where you can hover your mouse over a Bible reference and it displays multiple translations or original languages. It would be good for when I am reading an article/commentary/journal etc and they are talking about the LXX Isaiah 55:1 for example - I'd like to actually see the LXX pop up in the "mouse hover" function as well as an English translation like the NASB and maybe even the MSS.
Any ideas? Screenshot attached.

James this forum is about Logos Bible Software and not Bibleworks. I suggest you go to Bibleworks forum and ask for help.

Well that's an utterly clueless response.
I too am a longtime BW user and appreciate this functionality there, which AFAIK is not currently possible in Logos.
I too would really appreciate being able to see multiple translations on mouse hover.

I think the closest Logos has is the F7 over the reference ... not quite a hover.

This cannot be done in this precise manner but F7 will bring up the compare versions tool for the verse in question which is the Logos method of providing for the function.

Concur F7 pop-up has Top Five Bibles: e.g. Isaiah 55:1 with three English, one Hebrew, and one Greek (LXX)
Power Lookup can follow Bible to show footnotes.

Matt, James wasn't asking for help with BW but illustrating what is possible in that software and asking, how this could be done in Logos, if at all.

To be fair to Matt, he obviously misunderstood James' ambiguous, "I want to be able to replicate this functionality in Bibleworks", and didn't understand that what James really meant was "I want to be able to replicate Bibleworks' functionality in Logos".

As others have said, F7 is Logos' equivalent. It's pretty useful. If you want a bit more flexibility and don't mind clicking, you can also set up a multiview panel with "Send hyperlinks here".

Hi all,
Thanks for your response, the F7 trick should do for me.

Thanks for pointing this out Mark and I apologise for not making my wording less ambiguous.
Cheers,
James
