Can "License" Type be Included in Resource info when Exporting Library to a Spreadsheet?
I used the Library export feature to create an Excel SS report of all my resources, but didn't see the license type listed in the SS and I don't see a way to specify which library fields will be exported. Is there a way to get a library report that includes the license type?

Not automatically. Try filtering your library by license:temporary and export it. Repeat for license:permanent. You could then merge the two spread sheets with an additional column for License.

A useful feature here for those who dabble in the "used Logos" market would be indicators for 1) purchased under Academic Discount, 2) part of a bundle, and 3) received by transfer rather than purchase.

The license type should be exported in the next release.

Thanks for responding, Dave! I'm guessing you were just thinking of a way that would make it easy for me to get the resources separated out by license type so I could manually add a license column and then manually populate it. What I'm desiring though is a Faithlife feature/process that will create and populate the field in order to document the license type of each resource according to Faithlife's records. Please let me know if I'm mistaken in that guess, but according to Andrew, it sounds like in the next Logos release/update, the export process will do exactly what I'm after, so hopefully that will work soon.Dave Hooton said:Rick Ausdahl said:Is there a way to get a library report that includes the license type?

This should now be fixed in 7.4 (7.4.0.0032).
