Maybe most of you have already discovered this but I came across a  VERY helpful improvement regarding floating windows.

first: you can right click on a resource in LIBRARY and it will open a menu with an option for opening that book in a floating window

and: I thought I had found a way to open any tab in an already open floating window, but I can't seem to reproduce that action again. There may be certain circumstances under which this will work, but I don't know how I did it.

If you have the floating window selected when you open your next resource, the new resource will open to the floating window.  Basically, whatever section you have selected in your layout when you click open, the resource will go to that section.
