I am looking for layout ideas to better streamline my personal Bible studies, seminary studies, sermon prep, etc. Any screenshots or other information is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Hi Keith,
Here is an old post that links to a pdf I wrote explaining my Logos framework. A layout screenshot can be helpful, but this explains the hows and whys of my set up. I have made some adjustments as Logos 7 has provided additional tools and features. Hope this provides you some ideas.

With that said, here is my basic study layout. Guides, targeted search, Cited By and Info window on the left; bible in multi-view with original language staked center and lexicons on the right. resources open on the right pane in this set up. The panes on the left are linked to the bible in the center. The Greek lexicons also have multi-view. For example the BDAG has an entry for most GNT words is linked with the TLNT that has a more limited scope.
The key is to be able to get into my entire library quickly and the tools and guides on the left are the pathway.
Anyway, hope this helps.
That's great! Thanks, brother!
Welcome to the Forums!!
Layout suggestions have been offered in the past. I have referred often to John Fidel's post. You may want to try searching the Forums for "Layout" to see some of the other suggestions.
Here are links to 2 of my posts that 1) offer my 5 favorite layouts https://community.logos.com/forums/p/73828/514992.aspx#514992
and 2) offer a link to a YouTube series on creating layouts for a 5-day sermon cycle https://community.logos.com/forums/p/135404/880022.aspx#880022

Thanks, brother!
If possible, take advantage of multiple monitors. Most laptops have a VGA or HDMI port which allows a second monitor to be connected. It is easy to place windows on a second monitor where you can locate extra open Bibles or commentaries. The extra screen real estate can be very useful. Some folks have posted their desktops where they have three, or even four monitors in use.
The Logos "Layout" feature will honor the placement of resources in alternate monitors by saving and restoring the windows in the correct monitors.
