Logos 7.8 Release Notes:

Settings

  • A blue notification icon to restart application is made visible when changing any settings that require a restart.

The notification icon appears when a restart is not required  e.g. Set Verbum to NO when in Logos.

I already created a case for this issue when you reported it here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/145396/908790.aspx#908790

Ahhh, now I rememberBig Smile I thought it might save 7.8 users from commenting...

But it could be stated as a Known Issue.

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding, but the 7.8 release notes say:

Set Verbum to yes/no now requires an application restart.

Does this speak to your point about Set Verbum to NO?

No, his point is that he already has Verbum set to NO, and he enters that command, and it prompts for a restart, even though one is not technically required.
