How do I link windows so they scroll together?

First, let me say how disappointing Logos 4 has been. I’ve yet to figure out how to do the following two things that are fairly easy in Logos 3.

1. Link windows so they scroll together.

2. Set up my Greek text so that when I click on a word it opens up DBAG and shows the full definition.

The Logos 4 audio player is not even close to the Logos 3 player in functionality. In v. 3 you simply type in the verse and it goes to that verse and begins reading. You can slow down the pace of the reading with a simple click. No such options in v. 4.

I’ve also found the help files fairly useless in helping me learn tasks related to studying the NT in Greek such as these. This is why I’ve mainly been using version 3. When I have wanted to try and use the new version, it often makes me wait for an extended period while it downloads updates.

You'll want to watch some of the tutorial videos to get more familiar with the new way of doing things in Logos 4. Start with http://www.logos.com/videos and when you've absorbed those, move on to the user-generated ones (there are really some outstanding ones) at http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Video_Tutorials.

Pretty much everything you knew how to do in Logos 3 is still doable, but there's been a major paradigm shift, so it takes a while to get the hang of it. Don't worry. This helpful community is here to help you get through the learning curve. Ask away whenever you can't figure something out.

1. Link Sets still exist in L4, and they are almost identical to the way they worked in L3. Click on the panel icon of a resource to dropdown the panel menu, and select the link set from there:

When two panels are on the same link set, they will scroll in tandem.

Link Sets are saved with Layouts if you save your layout. Otherwise, they are lost when you close and reopen a resource.

2. To get BDAG to show up when you double-click on a Greek word, you need to prioritize that as your top Greek Lexicon. This is the new way of doing what used to be called "keylinking" in L3.

Go to your Library (Ctrl+L or click on the Book icon in the upper left corner), click Prioritize in the upper right corner, and drag titles from the Library list on the left into the prioritize panel. To understand what prioritization is all about, you'll really need to watch a video or two. As for all the waiting, it might be that Logos is still indexing. Do you see a blue Logos icon in your icon tray at the lower right of your screen? Hover your mouse over it and it will tell you approximately how much longer it will take for Logos to finish indexing your entire library. You can still do work while the indexing is taking place, but it will slow things down in the short term. However you will be glad once the index is complete, because it makes searching so much faster in L4 than it was in L3.
