Some while back, Graham Criddle and Disciple of Christ helped me use Note by Reference to get a particular note in all my Bibles, without having to go to each Bible and add the note. I just used those instructions again and discovered that the note is in almost all my Bibles. Out of 26 Bibles, the note is missing only in the ESV and the NKJV. (NOTE: This is the passage in John where Jesus walks on water. This story is also found in 2 of the other gospels.I doubt this is the cause of the problem.)

Any idea why it is missing in only these 2?

I doubt if it is missing, but is probably turned off.

To check this you need to know the name of the Notes document you are creating the notes in.

Then click the visual filters (three circles) icon in the ESV, scroll down to and expand the Notes section and see if that Notes document is enabled. My guess is that it won't be. If you toggle it on you should be fine.

Im not at my computer at the moment so can't provide any screenshots but hopefully this will help

When you're right, you're right. And it didn't even take a screenshot!

Thanks again
