Freeze and hanging on Mac

When starting up Logos, the app hangs on the opening page.  The screen is blank, and it's states it's indexing but left computer on and running overnight, no hibernation... and it's still at 0%.  

Please Help!

Try this:

  • Open "activity monitor" via macOS Utilities. 
  • Kill all Logos activities, especially the indexer.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Restart Logos
  • Let us know if it works!

I am having this problem, too. Thank you for your suggestions.

I have tried killing all Logos activities, shutting down and restarting my computer, and restarting Logos, without success.

It is a new installation, so I wondered if it might be linked to indexing, but when I first installed it yesterday I had the home screen yesterday and access to resources .

Any further suggestions? I also can't access the training videos in my library, but I have been able to access books.

It would be best to create a new thread if the issue persists. A new installation, however, may take a LONG time to download and index your resources. 

If you are still having troubles after a restart of your computer, please create a new thread and provide appropriate details (including logs... see my signature line).

Thank you for your gracious reply! I haven't used the forums in about six years, so couldn't remember the etiquette. I will try indexing overnight and then start a new thread if needed.
