Athelas Logos font missing since 10.17.17 update

As of the Logos update of October 17, 2017, the "Athelas Logos" font is missing from the Font dropdown list for Notes documents in Logos.

As a result, Notes files formatted using the "Default" font are now appearing in an entirely different and much less usable (and attractive) font called "Skolar Logos".

New Notes entries appear to be defaulting to "Skolar Logos".

Attempting to reformat text by selecting "Default" applies an entirely different (unknown) font that is neither Athelas Logos nor Skolar Logos.

If you would, please provide a link for obtaining the Athelas Logos font for manual reinstallation.

Thank you for your assistance.

    Welcome Paul! [:)]

Typefaces are often licensed, rather than sold. I am unsure if "Athelas" is the typeface in question, but FL needed to remove a font recently due to losing the ability to distribute it. Are you on Windows or Mac?

In any case, you can purchase the typeface from the owners here (currently $149.99 US): https://typekit.com/fonts/athelas

Thanks very much for your response. I am on Mac.

"Athelas" is still available in Logos. Unfortunately, it is not at all the same as "Athelas Logos".

I should point out that Athelas Logos was the default Notes font upon installation of Logos. It is not my favorite font in the world, but I retained it because it is decent, and because it was custom programmed for Logos:

In the Notes Document composition/editing window, Athelas Logos is a finely engraved serif font very similar to Times New Roman. Concise and precise in appearance, it is both easy to read and takes up little space, excellent for the denser editing window. When the Note is viewed as a reference, however, Athelas Logos appears as a rounded, sans serif font similar to Ariel. Easier to read and more suited to the popup Note window. Nice programming touch.

Skolar Logos, also clearly custom-programmed for Logos, is still the nice rounded, easily read font in the popup widow, but in the editing window is large, coarse and ugly, taking up more space, both horizontally and vertically, and thus precisely the opposite to what is needed in the editing interface.

If Skolar Logos had been the default Notes font upon install, I would have updated my Default to something more appropriate. Since Athelas Logos was both elegant and obviously custom-programmed for Logos, I had two reasons to retain it as the default.

    Please make it available.

As I mentioned above, it appears that FL no longer has the rights to tribute the typeface.

We've changed the default font in most major releases; Athelas was several revisions back, and this year our license for embedding it ended. You can still install and use it if you purchase a license, but our stats showed almost all users were using Skolar or other fonts. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

(There are now many other commercial and free fonts with good Unicode support; you might check out https://www.fontsquirrel.com/)

With that font now missing, is there a fast way to change all notes to a uniform font?    I had used Athelas Logos for all my notes (in 100's of notes files) and would like them to have a uniform font.
