The last couple of months I've done a "Community Pricing Bidding Guide" with updated stats. Seems a little pointless this month considering all but one title on the page is in its last week. Now would be a good time to time suggest some more titles to be added to the page.

So this is it folks :

Below are the the maximum bids you need to place before this Friday in order to get these titles at the lowest price they are likely to ever be available individually. If you haven't already bid then you may actually help the price go even lower.

Bid $6 on "The Christian's Daily Walk"

Bid $10 on "Compendium of Christian Theology"

Bid $18 on "Catena Aurea"

Here's the link to the page : http://www.logos.com/communitypricing

Without any replacements this triple header finish leaves just "Barnes Notes" languishing there by itself - and although it has seen further activity this month it's still got a ways to go.

So what titles would you like to see on the page? It has been previously suggested that Logos review some of the public domain resources sitting stagnant in pre-pub and push them over to CP. Any exsisting pre-pub orders would be added as CP max bids giving the title a good head start. I think that's an excellent idea - anyone else - and if so - what titles?

I don't know what is PD on pre-pub.  My suggestion....put all PD's on CP.  I like the prices Smile

Jeremy White:

what titles?

I'd like to see Oliver B Greene's material bundled and offered on CP (i.e., http://www.thegospelhour.org/products.html)

I say, let's start getting individual Puritan titles (instead of big bundles). Those should move pretty quickly if there's a market (which I"m confident there is). Use the Puritan Paperback series by Banner of Truth.

But the first set that I would love and should be a great attention-grabber for Logos is Jeremiah Burrough's sermons. They've been recently reworked into The Gospel Life Series http://www.ligonier.org/store/gospel-life-book-package-none/ But as they are public domain they don't necessarily need to be packaged the way Ligonier does it. I would love, however, for anything and everything Ligonier publishes to appear on Logos

I would just love that! They are not public domain so it would take licensing from The Gospel Hour or whoever holds the rights. I have everything available in print and many out of print titles. But alas, they sit on the shelves too much since I always go to Logos first.

Yes, that is a tendency we all have, me included! That's why I'd like to see individual Puritan titles offer from the Banner of Truth list. In some cases now it's years since I took some of them down from the shelf!

What about the Letters of Samuel Rutherford, most of them written when he was exiled to Aberdeen from his charge in Anwoth. They have a pastoral warmth and a doctrinal clarity of a kind seldom seen. Not surprising when you consider that much of the Westminster Confession of Faith, for which he was seconded to England to help frame, was developed largely from his catechisms for his congregation in Anwoth in South-West Scotland. I have it in the Banner of Truth reprint, but how much more use I could and would make of it if I had it in Logos format.

I would like to see Old and Middle English translations of the Bible as well as the various English/Scottish psalters. I'm very willing to not be picky as to which ones are offered. And, of course, had we not already been given hints it would soon appear in pre-pubs, the Book of Common Prayer would get a strong vote. I'm quite sure (well, okay reasonably sure) that these titles are not too self-serving as nominees Angel

How about some of these ideas from Christian Classics Ethereal Library:

(their server went down and I couldn't finish going through the alphabet, but that's a good start!)

Good list Rosie,

I've been wanting Dante - I believe Paradise lost is already available. (yup: Paradise Lost by Milton)

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

CCEL's server is back up, so here is the rest of my list:

There's a ton more on CCEL that Logos should eventually consider publishing; these are just the best ones I was familiar with.

Rosie Perera:
looks like this might not be PD either (has a (c) symbol; but why?

I take it this is not the 1483 translation Big Smile nor Ryan's translation in the early 1990's. That leaves the 1931 reprint resetting the copyright clock for some reason. Makes no obvious sense.

I wouldn't mind if the CCEL titles go up, but I personally wouldn't benefit from most of them.

Please focus on Puritan selections. Use Banner of Truth (http://www.banneroftruth.org/pages/home.php),  Solid Ground Christian Books (http://www.solid-ground-books.com/, and Monergism (http://www.monergismbooks.com/home.php?cat=254) as examples of what to be trying to get.
