The Christian's Daily Walk has now gone down to $5 - can we see Pope and Aquinas both go down to their next price points.

My browser, incorrectly, took the second quotation mark as part of the address - thus generating an error.  Here is one that works --

Just a reminder that last weekend three books moved over to PrePub status from Community Pricing.  Until Friday at noon, these three titles can be had for their Community Pricing bid price (or less).  One of these three has decreased in price since moving into PrePub status - the other two are very close to doing so.

In addition, a new title has been added to the Community Pricing list of titles.

If it has been a while since you have looked Community Pricing, now would be a good time to do so, before these prices disappear:

Pope's Compendium of Christian Theology has moved down to its next price point of $8.00.  That only leaves Aquinas' Catena Aurea to move down.  If that happens, then all three books that moved to Prepub last weekend will have dropped significantly since becoming eligible for publication.  There is a little over 24 hours till these prices are gone forever.  Check out the Community Pricing page if you have not done so since last Friday.

Blessings,
Floyd

Im on the fence on Pope's theology.  I do have William Shed's Dogmatic in Dead Tree Version.  Just bought in hardback new for $37.  $60 was too steep in Logos format.  Pope is definitely affordable and I guess the polar opposite of Shed.  Just trying to convince myself.  Rosie did a great job on the Aquinas pre-pub.  I probably wouldn't have chose that if not for her input.

I tried to attach a PDF of a couple of pages, but could not get it to work.  Here is a link to one of the volumes:

The advantage of LOGOS will be that they will be searchable both by keyword and by scripture.  Scripture passages will also link to your favorite Bible.

Pope is the most Biblical of the Wesleyan-Arminian theologies with which I am familiar. I need my Bible open as I read his work.  I am less familiar with the newer texts by Miley and Oden - though Grudem thinks it is one of the best Wesleyan theology texts available.
