Bible Screen Verse of the Day app in Windows 10

This cool app now seems to fail in Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update (or possibly a subsequent update).
Previously my lock screen would update to the daily Verse of the Day, but now it's frozen. If I change the lock screen, then back to Bible Screen, it updates. But not by itself, it seems.

Yep, mine is doing the same thing... Here is what I have tried with no success:
- Uninstalling-reboot-reinstall
- I have checked under "to update your lock screen picture every morning, add Faithlife Bible Screen Verse of the Day to your Lock Screen Apps under PC Settings" which accomplishes nothing.
- I have uninstalled with uninstaller tools which rip out registry settings still not working.
- I have also reset/refreshed my windows installation with the registered version of https://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html and still, it does not work.
- I have resolved that Windows 10 1809 Enterprise and Bible Screen App from Windows Store do not play well with others and with great regret realized it is the app and not my settings or environment. Something must have changed with 1809 and below to make this now a useless app.

It must be an "Enterprise" glitch, because mine is working as expected.
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).
