From a Passage Guide, open up a long winded commentary on a passage. Read halfway through the commentary for the verse, scrolling the screen down the page. Go back to the Passage Guide, and open up another Commentary. Then, switch over to the tab with your first commentary you opened, where you had navigated down the page. That commentary will have moved back to the beginning of the verse, for no apparent reason!

Do you have them linked to the Bible? If so, then the reason is that you navigated back to the beginning of the verse when you opened the new commentary. To avoid this, don't link the commentary to the Bible. It will stay where you want it.
