If you use another app it is. Hey Faithlife - hook us up! Its a pain to copy and write the reference in because it copy’s all the extraneous items as well. The olive tree app is starting to become my go-to app and I am only using Logos on my desktop.
Since this feature request is not massively popular on uservoice, I imagine it's not really high priority for most users...

That’s ridiculous. I voted on this years ago. And stil forgot about this. Most Logos users (including most pastors I know) dont know about this section. I know 3 pastors that chose Olive Tree to invtest in and recommend at conferences simply because you cannot copy and paste with references, something available in most (and even more basic) free apps.

You are right there Robert, I spend a good deal of time in the forum and on the app. I haven't visited the 'user voice' site (I should think) in over a year.
It is foolish for Faithlife to rely on this as a mechanism for gauging the popularity of features. As indeed it is for them to rely on the instincts of language specialists and the needs of intricate analysts to prioritise the features that we need.
If one customer complains then there are probably a hundred thinking the same thing. If one customer finds enough of a problem to move to a new platform alarm bells should ring.
While I have no use (at the moment) for the feature you request. A quick think about it does indicate that it is a fairly basic requirement. Something that could well be introduced perhaps as a force touch feature on the copy button?

How to get logs and post them. (now tagging post-apocalyptic fiction as current affairs)
Right on Mr. Binks!
This is my biggest complaint with the mobile app as well. Annoying writing a sermon without being able to have reference. I use my iPad frequently to write sermons while waiting or in between appointments. Did Logos update this on the Faithlife app and not the Logos app?
Mike Slothower:Did Logos update this on the Faithlife app and not the Logos app?
No. The OP alluded to an app outside of the Faithlife economy.
FYI - The Faithlife suite of apps run the same base code, with small differences (typically in UI).

I agree. My biggest frustration with Logos/FaithLife is this lack of a scripture reference in the copy function of the Mobile app. That functionality is my number 1 need and complaint. I have complained a few times in the app reviews and forums but to no avail. Most other Bible Apps do see the need to include this functionality... but not FaithLife for some reason?
FaithLife please help us out with this!

It's not my number one complaint, but it certainly is ridiculous that this many years in and this is still not a thing. There are some very basic functions that a Bible app should have and almost all of them are missing one of these. This is FL's embarrassment. When people learn of this they tell me, "why would I use that. It doesn't even ..." This is the thing on the Logos Bible app.

Ditto. But I invested into logos and not olive tree. Regretfully. However, the web app does help me like it slightly. I’m still boondoggled that this cant do such a simple thing.
Most of the pastors that I know are busy & quite a few of them are working pastors. Quite often they are preparing their studies and sermons on airplanes and sitting in doctor's office waiting rooms or they are adding a last minute inspiration scripture to their message, etc. Thus the need to be mobile and quick is important. Logos could help with this but I surmise that FaithLife developers probably are working on a desktop behind a desk and do not understand the need to work quickly & efficiently on the go. The software seems to be more geared toward going deep and broad when the mobile app needs to be quick and efficient also.

This is an excellent suggestion and with the proper exposure, it should get a good level of support.

All they have to do is add verse numbers. You get the reference, but not the verse numbers.
Anyone? Anyone? Buehller?
Anyone from FL reviewing these? I am having to study from my iPad and cant effectively copy and paste from logos (as usual) and keep having to go into Olive Tree Bible to effectively use for study. Really dont wanna use anything but logos - breaks my brain having to use so many apps :)
So please, copy and paste with references ASAP, blessings!
Robert Bigouette:Anyone from FL reviewing these?
The forums aren't a primary means of communication with FL, rather they are intended to be user self support.

We shipped a quick version of this to beta. It should be coming to stable soon. It doesn't yet have the various styles and customizations of the desktop app, but at least you'll now have the reference and the version abbreviation with the text. I hope this improves your experience and will hold you over until we can offer a more feature-rich experience in the future.
Phil, you bless my aging heart! So awesome! Normally would offer self for the beta but working two jobs, and pastoring the church I dont have time anymore. Bless you!
Still waiting with baited breath!
Robert Bigouette: Still waiting with baited breath!
It's in the latest beta and will ship in the next week or two, I think.
