I appreciate that it's launch day of the new Alpha and you are already showing Teasers for the next Alpha 2 weeks out! Thanks for showing us what you are working on and not revealing too much all at the same time.
But we already have the ability to adjust our default text size percentage under preferences, so will this be something different?
This is actually program scaling where the entire app scales, not just the text in the resource. All the buttons, scrollbars, menus, labels, tooltip etc. If you look closely, you can see the text behind the top of the window is "normal sized". The whole application is much bigger.
If you click on the image to view it full size, you can compare the size with your normal Logos 4.
This makes the icons and the whole interface bigger too.
A blessing on your head and fingers and eyes Logos team!
(This teaser supports Hebrew??)
Um, next, fuller keyboard control so I can do voice command/control ;-)
Keep it up!! And again, thank you, thank you.
andrew
Yes it does. See Firefox behind which is at the default scaling size (and the status bar in the upper right).
Oh my! You really don't know how empowering this is to me. You have not only incarnated well the Talmud masters of study with version 4 (the sages/rabbis were doing rich conceptual hypertext/links long, long before print) but now those who of us once denied because of our disabilities have fuller access to Torah study with ease. Oh how I wish I was 25 again in school. Tears are welling up in my eyes.... Thank you.
I'm waiting to see the Beta 5 teaser...
Amen!
Tom - will this feature include the resizing of the Mouse-Over Pop-Up Windows as well. Please include this in the sizing component - if the text of the resource is 200% but when you mouse over a Greek Word and the window pops up in 10 point font - it really makes reading the window content difficult to read for those of us who are optically challenged. That would make the product completely uniform in terms of re-sizing from the default size.
Just checking in.
Thanks
-Mike
I second that request. [:)]
Tom----thx for the previews! that gets us excited for the next Alpha; nice strategy!
