There's a bug that prevents lookups working for a small number of datatype reference ranges.

To reproduce:

  1. Open the FotC volume to De Incarnatione.
  2. Right-click, and select the current reference on the context menu.
  3. Perform a Power Lookup.

  • "No resources found that contain this reference."

Expected result:

  • As a minimum, the current resource should be listed in Power Lookup. (The current resource must contain the reference, because that's where we ran the lookup from.)

Other datatype references known to be affected (none of them return the appropriate FotC volume):

  1. Ambrose, The Sacraments
  2. Augustine, The Christian Combat
  3. Augustine, Answer to Skeptics
  4. Augustine, Divine Providence and the Problem of Evil
  5. Augustine, On the Immortality of the Soul
  6. Augustine, On the Greatness of the Soul
  7. Augustine, On Music
  8. Augustine, On Adulterous Marriages
  9. Augustine, Against the Jews
  10. Augustine, On the Divination of Demons
  11. Augustine, The Christian Life
  12. Augustine, On Continence
  13. Augustine, The Excellence of Widowhood
  14. Augustine, The Usefulness of Fasting
  15. Augustine, On Eight Questions, from Dulcitius

Although this looks like a long list, it's only a small proportion of datatypes I've tested. Most are fine.

If I own another resource that also contains the datatype, that other resource does show up in Powerlook/search. But the FotC volume is missing.

Additional notes:

  • Milestone Search is equally affected (e.g. {Milestone <Ambrose ~ Ambrose, The Sacrament of the Incarnation of our Lord>} returns zero results).
  • I've tried reindexing the individual volumes to see if that fixes the problem. It didn't.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for reporting this. I'll write up a case.

Thank you. I've discovered the problem isn't restricted to FotC volumes. Here's an example in Loeb. If you perform a lookup from that location, you'll see that you get results in the Apostolic Fathers, but not from Loeb itself.
