I need to know how to access offline mode. Before this last update to version 7.12.0.27 there used to be an option to select work offline. However, now the app launches and wants to sign in. No option available. I am a Navy Chaplain and have no access to internet when at sea. I really need to know how find this option if possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome! [:)]

I‘m not quite sure I understand your trouble. You will have to sign in when you first use the app, but you can work without an internet connection at any time. Are you continually having to sign in? If so, that indicates a problem.

    Welcome [:D]

For extended offline use, recommend changing Tools => Program Settings => Use Internet to No (followed by closing application and relaunch). When have internet access, can change Use Internet to Yes.

For one session offline, Logos wiki has sign in tip => https://wiki.logos.com/Keyboard_Shortcuts_For_Mac

    For further clarification:

When I open the program. It automatically says signing in and the wheel spins. Then it says "Unable to Connect" with a button that says try again. In older versions there was a box you could check that would allow you to work offline. However, because there is no box I can't get past the Unable to connect screen and therefore I can't access any of Logos settings in order to change them to work offline. I hope this helps clarify my problem and I appreciate the suggestions so far.

Thank you for the tip. However, this did start it at a different sign in screen however there was no option to check a box to "work offline" I am still hoping there is a way around this if anyone has anymore suggestions. Thanks again in advance as any help is appreciated.

You have to sign in online successfully first before you can run offline. Once this is done, the Work Offline button will be available on the sign in screen.

I was afraid this might be the case with this last update that I got. This did not used to be the case in my experience. Unfortunately, this is a pretty devastating reality for a deployed military chaplain like myself where I can't just plug in or get on Wi-Fi with a personal laptop. Especially since I didn't notice this happened before I went operational again. I greatly appreciate the help however. Thanks to everyone for their assistance.

Curious if deployment preparation included Time Machine backup(s) ?

If so, one option is restoring Logos Application and your ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4 folder to an older version. Logos 7.12 was released to stable channel on 9 Jan 2018 while 7.11 SR-2 was released on 13 Dec 2017. Logos wiki has release history => https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_7_Release_Notes

Note: launching Logos 7.12 causes database files in your ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4 folder to be updated so Logos 7.12 or newer application is needed.  Hence, trying to launch Logos 7.11 with 7.12 database files will quickly crash to prevent database file corruption.

FYI: after experiencing several issues trying to use Logos 7 OR Verbum 7 offline for a session (at some weekly Bible Studies), learned to change Use Internet to No before taking my MacBook Air to a place without WiFi. Personally have Logos 7 installed with my primary account and Verbum 7 installed with my secondary account that has an order total of $ 0.00 (useful for showing Basic features to others) so have two installations to change for offline use. Thankful can use Logos 7 and Verbum 7 at the same time.

If have internet access, then Logos Web App may be helpful => https://app.logos.com for accessing your library.

If could ship an item to deployed position, a possibility is asking Logos customer service => https://www.logos.com/contact about having a new laptop sent to them for Logos installation followed by shipping to you.
