Rick,

Were any new resources added to the "Confessional Documents" dataset?

Rick, thanks for the work your team is doing. You are doing things that a lot of Logos users probably don't fully appreciate.

No, we just had some resource updates we needed to rebuild the data to accomodate.

If you have suggestions, feel free to make them known here: https://faithlife.com/lexham-confessional-documents-cross-references-dataset/

My RSV is not showing any interlinear for the OT or deuterocanon, but my NRSV is.

Hi Randall.

Randall Cue:
My RSV is not showing any interlinear for the OT or deuterocanon, but my NRSV is.

This is probably due to licensing. Each Reverse Interlinear component (OT, deuterocanon, NT) is separately licensed. I believe the OT and deuterocanon for the RSV were released in conjunction with the 7.10 update and licensed for Logos Now / Faithlife Connect users. I do believe they are available for separate purchase (hopefully this: https://www.logos.com/product/149570/the-reverse-interlinear-revised-standard-version )

Rick,

Are we going to get to the point where all of the data we see in the reverse interlinear ribbon actually reflects the Greek text behind the manuscript? That would be very, useful.

I know the lemma and Strong's data is translation-specific, but, as you know, a lot of the data that we users think of as reverse interlinear data is not actually tied to the specific English translations at all. Instead, it's keyed to the Greek text, and then indirectly to the English text. That means (for example) that Sense data, is either missing or incorrect, especially in English texts based on the Received Text.

Having (at least) Louw-Nida and Sense data translation-specific, could mean that RIs would be more complete in the KJV/NKJV, and add a lot power to Text Comparison.

You and I agree. I've been advocating for exactly this (add LN & Sense data to Scrivener's TR data) for awhile, but as yet have been unsuccessful. I'll keep pushing (and citing you as more justifciation).

Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification, Rick. I'll just stick with the NRSV.

My notifications mark that Biblical Events and the Timeline Datasets were updated.  Is this just more information being added to these tools?

Prophetic? probably not. Embarrassing? Just a little.
