BUG: Topic Guide disabling half of my screen

Running Verbum 7.13.0.0017 on Windows, typing "Praxis" into the GO box on the Home screen and hitting enter runs a Topic Guide template that categorically prevents tabs being opened on the right side of the window. Only running a proper Topic Guide or Passage Guide from the Home screen seems to re-activate the right side of the window; even closing the problematic Topic Guide tab is not sufficient to resolve the problem.

You can activate that from the Layouts menu - choose the 2 Tiles icon at top left. Then you can drag a Tool/Guide/Document from the menu, or an open tab, into it.

Your workaround works, but the bug remains.

    but the bug remains.

    Let Faithlife decide...

If you enter a word like premium it will open a Search panel that occupies the full window; which is inconsistent to say the least. If you want to best utilise the space it also requires the 2-tile workaround.

    SineNomine,

Thanks for reporting this bug, I've filed a case for it.

That is an interesting inconsistency. I have no problem with the topic guide for "praxis" (only) covering the left half of my screen... I just want to still be able to use the right half.

This has been fixed in 7.15 Beta 1.

It is not fixed in SR-1, only in 7.15 Beta.

    Dave,

You are correct, I’ve edited the release notes to reflect that.
