Is there an easier way to tell which volumes were received in a commentary set "when purchased"?

I'll use the Pillar New Testament Commentary set as an example.
I had the set prior to March Madness, but two volumes are now in the set that weren't there when I first bought it, so I purchased the set again to take advantage of the dynamic pricing offered as part of the MM sale--in affect, really only purchasing the two volumes I was missing. However, my order history doesn't list the purchase of those two volumes--it lists it as a purchase of the entire commentary set (at a ridiculously low price).
Now, I was pretty sure the two volumes in the current set that I didn't have, were Luke and Second Corinthians,--but how or where is this documented? There's no purchase date metadata that can be viewed within Logos that I'm aware of, but I thought, maybe still not too much of a problem--I'll just check my order history for my original purchase of the set and hope it will have a link to the commentary set as it was then (i.e. minus the two volumes). Then I'll compare the set as it was then to the current set. But there was no record of such a previous purchase in my order history. So I thought, "Great! It must have been included as part of a library purchase." That meant I needed to track down which library purchase included the Pillar set.
Well, I did find the library purchase that included Pillar, and by examining the volumes listed when expanding the Pillar entry in the library, I was able to confirm that the two new volumes were indeed Luke and Second Corinthians. But I'm hoping there's a better way. Does anybody have some good news for me???
AFTERTHOUGHT
It seems to me that since the price showing in my MM purchase was the dynamic price for just the two new volumes, the order history should also be able to document and display which volumes were purchased as part of that MM order. And/or (preferably "and"), an option should be included within Logos for a purchase date column for each resource when viewing your library. I know having a purchase date column has been brought up before.

Did the price for the set ever get reduced after the plagiarized volumes got removed? I think the set should cost less, since it’s missing two volumes.
I’m glad I kept my O’Brien copies. I hope the Pastoral Epistles makes it out this year.

Since I got the set as part of a library purchase, I have no record of what the set cost before the plagiarism issue surfaced. But I am glad I kept my O'Brien volumes as well.

Two ways I can think of:
- After you purchased it, you could sort your library by last updated for conformation.
- Before you purchased it, you could scroll to the bottom of the product page to the More Details section and the volumes you do not own will have an asterisk.

I also got this earlier in a base package. This shows that Luke and 2 Cor would be my new volumes

Thanks you, Scott (and David regarding suggestion number 2). I appreciate the ideas, but I think there is an issue with each that prevents them from solving my problem.Scott E. Mahle said:Two ways I can think of:

Suggestion 1 might work as long as I sorted the library immediately after the purchase, but not necessarily down the road. It depends on exactly what the "last updated" column really represents. IF it represents when that resource was last updated on my machine, that could work initially, but would only be guaranteed to provide what I was after until the next time any of the volumes is again updated on my machine. When that happens, if one of the volumes from my first purchase was updated and none of the volumes from my second purchase were updated, the last update date would be more recent for one of the volumes from my first purchase and no longer provide me with the info I'm seeking. On the other hand, IF the last update date simply reflects the last date Faithlife did an update to the resource itself and has nothing to do with the date it was applied to my machine, then if would be possible from the get-go that some of the volumes from my first purchase would show an update date newer than the date of the volumes from my second purchase.
Suggestion 2 as you noted, only works before making the purchase. That was my problem in this situation. I thought I was remembering correctly which of the volumes were the new ones for me based on my original viewing the product page (before making the purchase), but after making the purchase, it just shows I own them all.
This is why I think that when a person already owns some of the volumes in a commentary set, then acquires the remaining volumes via a sale that requires purchase of the entire set, but offers dynamic pricing to compensate for the volumes you already own, the order for the entire set that really only got you the volumes you didn't own, should reflect which volumes you received with that order.
I know... it's a mess, and I'm tired and trying to multi-task so my explanation is probably a mess too. Sorry about that. [:S]

I have, for years, wished for a "purchased date" library field (you'll see it if you open the spreadsheet in my signature), but with FLC and other subscription considerations, the field should be called "first accessible" or something like that and the license type field should have values of "owned", "subscription", "preview", and "rental" (at least).

Couldn't agree more. Nowadays I tag resources when I buy them in a library. But would love to know which resources came with what package

Faithlife must have this info, and I agree it would be very useful to have in the library.
