Philana R. Crouch: I'll file a case.
Thank you! :)
Philana R. Crouch: Joseph Turner: Mine is still not working. I have opened and closed Logos several times and tried to force an update of resources, but even after leaving it over night, it is still grayed out and says that the tool is unavailable upon hovering over it in the tools menu. Joseph, Can you please enable logging (using the instructions in my post signature) reproduce the issue and upload the logs in a zip folder. This will help us see what else is going on.

When I got home from work this evening everything opened as expected, so I don't know what was going on! I'm good now though. Thanks!

Still not working for me. Interestingly when I turn off the internet I get the farthest. I see the side bar (see screenshot)
If internet is on it flashes on the screen for a second and disappears.
Mine worked fine once the update completed, even before indexing had finished. Initial impression is the new Atlas does perform much better, I might consider using it now based on those impressions to see if they hold.
The question i would have is two-fold: with the change have we lost any content that has not been converted to the new format and has all the content promised to be delivered with Logos 6 maps been delivered or is there still some outstanding
Bobby Bosler: ... Fixed, indeed! This new Atlas tool is AMAZING! You all have really outdone yourselves! I love the fact that they are so much faster to load and the fact that they are in order! That being said, I discovered one small chronology issue. I think one of these items are out of order, which appears to be an oversight. See if you can guess which one. :)

Thanks for the positive feedback: this release has been a long time coming, but I'm happy with all the new maps and the improved speed. We'll look into this ordering issue.

I remember buying 3 volumes in the L6 days. Maybe credit if they choose not to deliver those or maybe they are wrapped up in this?

All the content that shipped previously has been converted to the new format.
We're actively working on the last few dozen maps to complete the third Atlas volume.

Hi Mike,
This did get current logs. Thanks. I'll file a case.
Hello Philana, Is there any time frame as to when this issue might get looked at? I just went to use Atlas but it is still not working. Let me know when you can. Thanks

I know the team is aware of the issue, and will fix it as soon as possible. I'll update this thread once its fixed.

Mike Tourangeau: Philana R. Crouch: Mike Tourangeau:Still not for me......I don't need it right now, so I will leave it, but I hope it starts working eventually Mike, Is this still not showing up? Depending on your internet connect speed it can take some time during the initial set up of the new Atlas Tool. Hi Philana, thanks for your concern. No, it is not. I have restarted several times, let it sit overnight. Restarted the computer several times. I see the left column for a brief moment then it disappears (?)

I have this same issue... is it linked to the graphics card?

We have not found a fix, the problem everyone else was experiencing was a server issue that could be fixed without shipping a new version of the application. The issue you are experiencing with the white screen will most likely require us to ship an SR which is a longer process. It is on our radar and has not fallen through the cracks. I'll update this thread once we have it fixed.

John,
Can you enable logging, recreate the issue, and upload your logs. I want to verify that you are in fact experiencing the same issue.

As a workaround you should be able to use the Atlas Tool using the web app at app.logos.com.

Mike Tourangeau: Philana R. Crouch: I want to verify that you are in fact experiencing the same issue. Philana, Is there an understanding of what issue I am experiencing? What I mean is "Do you know the cause?"
I know its at the top of the list to be fixed, but I don't think we have determined the specific cause. I'm the QA Tester for the desktop team, but I'm not a developer so I can't determine the underlying cause. But part of my job is to help gather information developers will need to diagnose and fix the issue.
The reason I asked for John's logs is that two different crashes or bugs can cause the same behavior. I want to provide a copy of John's logs so the developer can look at both sets and determine that their fix will work.
I see......I was just looking at the new maps on the web app (why didn't I think of that) and I like what I see. Great stuff!
