I'd love to see more Brant Pitre books available however his book "Jesus and the Last Supper" is way overpriced in Verbum in my opinion.  The print edition is only $27 and Verbum is saying it's $55.  Bring the price down into the $20-25 range and I'll definitely buy it.

Thanks for the heads-up on the price of this title.  This looks like we originally contracted to produce this title when Eerdmans only had a hardcover version, which would likely have been $55.  The publisher currently lists the paperback for $40.  Amazon has the paperback for ~$27.

I'm investigating the possibility of adjusting the price.  I'm all for lowering the price to align with the publisher's current paperback price, but I need to confirm that we can do so within our current publisher agreement.  Given that it looks like the original Verbum price likely aligned with the publisher's hardcover price, we may not have a lot of leeway with the price on this one.

Stay tuned....

Looks like it's down to $37.99 for Verbum, vs. 27.99 as a paperback.

Still need more Brant Pitre...
