I have a very large number of highlights in the solid color note file. About 12000 highlights. It is starting to get slow to open the note file and navigate through and even to make new highlights.
I am wondering if there is a maximum number of highlights in one note file before the Logos program starts to become unstable.
If not, is there a recommended maximum number of highlights in a note file before it starts becoming heavy on the software?
Welcome to the forums, Michael!
I don’t have any specific numbers for you, but you can do the following as a workarpound for now.
Switch each palette’s settings from palette-specific notes file to resource-specific notes file.
This will store future highlights in separate documents, organized by resource.
Later this year, that setting and how we organize notes will all become a non-issue once our existing notes get migrated to the new notes system (which no longer uses note files).
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!
