BUG report for Mojave: Blank Side Panels

I am on the Mojave public beta. I have noticed that, after switching layouts, one or more of my side panels (e.g. Information, Favorites, Highlights, etc) will be blank.
Workarounds include: closing panel and reopening it; also restarting Logos will fix it.
I am running Logos 7.17 on Mojave Public Beta 8.

Is anyone else (who is testing the Mojave beta) experiencing this?
BTW: a quicker workaround is to close the panel with CMD-W and then type SHIFT-CMD-T to immediately reopen it.

thanks for that - will put upgrade on ice for a month or so !!

In another thread, others have said that they have not experienced this bug. Perhaps it is a machine-specific, graphics card issue. Here are my hardware specs and log reports:

Good to know that I'm not alone. [:)]

I've noticed that the issue extends to the BWS:
I've found out it's really just "covering" the information. For example, I can click on a "blank" Favorites panel and activate a favorite. It's just that I can't see which one!

I am still experiencing this issue on Logos 7.19 beta 1.
Has anyone from Faithlife seen this and filed a bug report?

Levi,
I am a fellow Mac User :-) running the latest released version of Logos 7.18 on macOS Mojave 10.14
My observation with regards to your post on “Information Panel”:
(1) Information Panel, based on what I just read from Logos Help appears to work only when your mouse hovers over words of Logos Resources, not reports (such as search panel you have shown).
- So there is nothing to show in Information panel when you hover your mouse over words in reports (I think?)
- Information Panel is blank, if your mouse is not pointing to “something” in any Panel displaying Logos Resources.
Quote from Logos Help, Point 2: “In any open resource, hover over a word or data type reference link. An entry from a dictionary, lexicon or encyclopedia may come up in Information, as well as text of references and footnotes, speaker labels, and palette/style names of applied highlighting” (Logos Help (Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2016)).
(2) I noticed that your Link set (A) is linking Bible (KJV) - indexed by Bible Reference, to Bible Word Study Report - that is looking for WORD not Bible Reference. The result will be unpredictable.
PS: Information Panel is working as it should for me.

Thank you for trying to help...but that is not what is happening here. No information ever shows (I have mine set to "click" not "hover"). Besides that, the favorites panel and highlighting panel also have the same problem.

Thanks for this also...so far only one other person is reporting the same problem that I am having.

Levi,
Sorry ... I try to re-create the issue:
Restart Logos 7, start with a blank layout, then open panels fo KJV, Highlight, favorite, Information panel ... one at a time. By the way, I have switch from "hover" to "click" for Information panel just to see if that matters.
This is what I get in the screen shot below ... looks like you need to talk to customer service and get the issue resolved.

Thanks for trying to replicate, LimJK.
I tried doing some elimination steps:
1) I created a new partition on my SSD and did a clean install of Mojave MacOS. Then I made a new user account and logged into my Faithlife account. After letting a few resources and my documents download, I tried to replicate the issue by switching back and forth between layouts. I was able to replicate the issue.
2) I then logged into my wife's Faithlife account and let a few resources and her documents download. I was also able to replicate the issue on her account.
Eliminated: a corrupt install of Mojave; something wrong with my MacOS user account; and something wrong my Faithlife account (corrupt layouts, documents, etc)

It would be really helpful if someone from FL would comment on this issue. I've interrupted an update to Mojave due to this report. I'd like to know if this is a local or global issue.

So far, only myself and one other has reported this issue. I've called Customer Support and it didn't sound like anyone had reported the issue to them.
Still, if I were in your shoes, I would create a separate partition on my drive to install Mojave and test Logos.

I have found another workaround:
I close all the open panels (by clicking on the circled X in the upper right corner), and then open the layout I want to switch to.
Perhaps this will be a clue to the developers as to why this is happening.

I'm seeing something similar with my Passage Guide rendering as a blank white panel, though the content is still there if I click blindly. The issue goes away on restart, but reoccurs when opening certain passages. Psalm 32 definitely breaks the app for me for some reason.
Running 7.18 SR-1 on a 2016 15" MBP in Mojave.

Count me as experiencing the same problem. In my layout, the Exegetical and Passage guides are keyed to my bibles that are open, but the guide windows show completely white. Blind clicking shows there is content there, it just doesn't show. If I shut down Logos completely and restart it, those two guides then show up in my layout. After while they disappear, sometimes just one, but other times both. All was working fine before upgrade to Mojave.
