I'm about to buy a new desktop - and wondered if anyone has bench-marked or tested Logos using NVMe SSD as opposed to SATA SSD and whether there's a noticeable difference?
I built a computer for Logos last year and went from a standard SSD to an NVMe and it did almost nothing. Please see the following thread for discussion:

Thanks Tanner.
My other choice is whether to go Ryzen 5 2400G or Ryzen 5 2600 with a 1059Ti GPU. I’d guess he former would be plenty for Logos 7.
I haven't tested the difference in speed with dedicated v. motherboard graphics card, but in the early days of this architecture the graphics card did made a difference. I ran it on Windows and had two machines with about the same specs. One had a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card and the other did not and the one with it, would run Logos faster. I can't remember what version that they first switched to this display architecture but I think it was Logos 4. I'm sure it's quite different now 3 versions later. If you can get a graphics card it does a better job in general running Windows. I tested a lot of computer during the 6 years I wrote tech reviews for GottaBeMobile.com and Notebooks.com and they always made a big difference running Windows.
