Confusion: Tyndale Commentaries (49 vols) & (58 vols)
I responded to the Build Your Own Bundle email, and selected Revelation: An Introduction and Commentary by Ian Paul (2018). I have the volume by Leon Morris (1987) purchased with Tyndale Commentaries (58 Vols), so I was intrigued by the invitation to "Get the full Tyndale Commentary set: Tyndale Commentaries (49 vols.)." --
- There is no banner to buy the set.
- Many titles are listed with a cover image under "New to you"
- they were mainly the same title/author with a Pub Date of 2008 or 2009; later than what I have.
- Ps 73-150 is the same earlier edition (1975) as mine, whilst Ps 1-72 is 2008.
- Then I followed (another) invitation to get the "full collection of Tyndale Commentaries, see here.", which was the 58 vol. collection I had purchased:-
- There was a banner to buy the set (correctly greyed out)
- There is no option for "New to you"
- Most of the titles listed with a cover image had the same 2008/2009 Pub Date problem
So, it appears that I can extend my collection with Paul's volume on Revelation. Any comments from owners of this volume?

1. Approaching Revelation
The book of Revelation is the most remarkable text you will ever read. Setting aside any claims that we might want to make about it as a result of its being part of the canonical Scriptures of the Christian faith, it is one of the most extraordinary pieces of literature ever written by a human being, and it ought to feature in any university course on world literature. Its engagement with the canonical Old Testament Scriptures, its use of contemporary first-century culture and mythology, its elaborate structure and multiple echoes, interweaving, repetition and development of themes, its extraordinarily sophisticated use of numerology in three different ways, and the sheer power of its rhetoric and impact of its imagery—all these make it a remarkable and endlessly fascinating text. Outside of the Christian Scriptures, there really is nothing in all of human literature to compare with it.
The nature of this text is reflected in the impact that it has had on human history, belief and culture. At a popular level, it is hard to escape the pervasive influence of its imagery, all of which is unique in the New Testament. There is hardly a day that goes by without some mention of Armageddon (16:16) as a metaphor for a cataclysmic event involving conflict, and the first word of the text, ‘apocalypse’, has not only become the descriptor for a whole genre of literature from the period, but serves as common expression for any kind of impending disaster. Images of people seated on clouds and playing harps (14:2, 14) have entered the popular consciousness, becoming a visual metaphor for anything thought to be ‘heavenly’, even in television advertisements. Disasters that include warfare, famine or disease are identified with the ‘four horsemen of the apocalypse’ (6:1–8);1 we all know that to enter heaven we must pass St Peter who is standing at the ‘pearly gates’ (21:21); and everyone is wary of the ‘number of the beast’ (13:18). We might then add ‘Jezebel’ (2:20), being ‘lukewarm’ (3:16), the ‘grapes of wrath’ (14:19), a ‘scarlet woman’ (17:3) and ‘streets paved with gold’ (21:21)—the list goes on!2
But Revelation has shaped the world at a more serious level too..........

I clicked the 58 volume set link, and arrived to find two incompatible phenomena: the purchase button is grayed out and says I own the whole collection, while the individual volume list that is beneath it shows that 9 of the volumes don't have the green "you own this" symbol (making 49 that I own). This page clearly needs attention.

[Y] I have the same issue; it appears that those volumes you mentioned are the revised or new edition (these volumes are actually in my Library), I owned both the 49 and 58 sets of Tyndale.
There are 2 volumes on John and Revelation (Dave mentioned) seems to be not part of these 2 sets. It will be nice if there is an upgrade option for these [:)]

And I have 59 volumes apparently but not the new Revelation Volume. The extra volume seems to have a different book cover; it’s the one on Esther by Joyce Baldwin. The new Esther by Debra Reid has the matching book covers like the rest.
And...yeah, I don’t have the Revelation volume by Ian Paul because is not even included in the “58 volume” set, but I have 59 🧐🤔

That's because the new volume on Song is two resources: a bible commentary and a bible resource with the text.
You can easily spot the new volumes in your library: both publisher and series are different from the old 49 volumes.

I agree and went with 1 Corinthians and Daniel. Unfortunately, I didn't see the Revelation volume when it was on pre-pub. I think the link you were given initially for the 49 volume set was an error. The page for the 49 volume has not button to purchase it, but I think it is maintained because if you look over on the right hand side the 49 volume set is a component of a number of current library base packages.
The 58 volume set is the current set which at some point, the one which should have been linked to in the first place, instead of the 49 volume set. There is a purchase button on this set, but it is not part of any current Library Base Packages.
In terms of either of them being offered when you have everything in both packages - that is not an unusual complaint from users about Logos marketing. And neither is the absence of a New to you section on the page - you need to go to the section at the bottom of the page - "More details about these resources" and look for any titles with an asterisk to see if they are new to you.
Given this new volume on Revelation was published this year, I am not surprised it is not yet in the 58 volume set, in place of the volume published 10 years earlier by Leon Morris. Over the years, at times, I have seen Logos not put newly released volumes of commentary sets into the "Complete Sets" immediately.
There is a combination of the wrong information being included on the Revelation Volume page about which is the most current complete set of the Tyndale commentaries, failure to include a New to You section on this page and FL doing it in their own time in terms of adding this volume to set of commentaries.
The release of Logos 8 might be the trigger to clean all of this up, particularly in terms of the set, if they intend keeping this set in the next range of base packages. But really the page for the Revelation volume should be corrected now to remove the misinformation and missing New to You feature.
