Interesting. Can confirm that I am seeing the same on my installation.
I really hope it comes soon... I don't care about FEATURES and NOTES. I have Logos Now, and the features of L8 is already in the system we use everyday if you use LN... just like how it was when Logos launch L7.
I just care about NEW BASE PACKAGES.. and I want to spend my money!

The announcement of the new Notes Tool probably means that Logos 8 is not far behind since they were waiting to release the Notes tool with Logos 8 but it wasn't ready.
Plus there's been some generic weirdness on the Logos website which led me to believe that they were updating things and getting things ready for the release of Logos 8.
I'm excited to see the new base packages as well.

I get a red dot next to SOFTWARE too and I have restarted Logos. Probably should stay green until Logos 8 is released. Unless it already is. But I doubt I would have missed the marketing communications if it was.

For the record, my previous post was done in jest. It doesn't bother me if that's one of the ways Faithlife wants to hype the launch of Logos 8.
This morning I logged into app.logos.com and it redirected to 7.app.logos.com. I don’t remember it doing that before.
And on on another computer that wasn’t logged in the login screen had s design that looked different and it referred to a new version of logos And new features.
Looks like Monday will be busy day

It's amazing really.
Wow! Funny thing is I remembered those earlier versions as being more advanced than they were. I loved Libby. But what we have now is so much better! All those memory jogs of sales pitches was quite nostalgic. I could actually remember the forgotten smell of my aging Tandy 1000 when it got hot. I think I actually had a newer Packard Bell 386 for by first Logos install. Sadly, I didn't buy in back then and not till years later. I can't be happier to have reversed that decision.

That was a good review. I do go back to Logos 1.6 and have no regrets other than at this point my budget is much tighter than my desires.
There is a Logos post on Facebook saying to w8 for an announcement tomorrow. It appears the time is 6am Pacific time.

Logos should release a couple base packages tonight, kind of like when your parents would let you open a couple Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. [:)]
Seeing as I don't keep most of my notes in Logos, I really hope there are more significant features to L8 than just the new notes tool.
Considering that everything that Logos Now/Connect users have had early access to is new to Logos 8, I don't think you need to "hope" ...
Yeah, there's that. But I dropped Connect and went for a Feature set largely because most of the things not considered part of 7 really weren't that significant or useful. A new notes tool also falls into that category, at least for me.
L7 has some nice few features but was otherwise nearly identical to 6. I'm hoping 8 is a more significant overhaul, especially to the interface, but I don't think the chances of that are very high.

Tried to get my sales rep to spill the beans last week but she wouldn’t give up anything, not even let me peek at the menu. Looking forward to what comes though. My only real complaint is that they don’t require their sales reps to always be available to my needs. 16 hr days, 6 days a week, at least. My sales rep gets to drag in at 1pm edt while I sit around drooling on my monitor half the day. At least I’ll have plenty of time to see what’s what and decide how much debt I can possibly get away with (and multilply that by 2 [;)]).

Yes it is. They are rebuilding the site right now so (hopefully) by 6 a.m. PT it will be ready to display all the great L8 information.

I'm hoping for some great packages! The L7 packages weren't great for me but I loved the L6 ones
