New in Logos 8, Workflows are detailed step-by-step study guides for any study process, from devotionals to expository sermon prep. You can follow Workflows provided in Logos, or create your own.
Whatever the workflow, at every step Logos pulls together relevant tools and resources to help you accomplish the task at hand. It also stores your insights from throughout the study process in the new Notes tool.

Workflows are important to me personally. I often go too academic and forget personal application. Workflows allow me to still go into academic mode while reminding me to come back to personal application. This has greatly enhanced my personal study time.

I LOVE workflows. I could go on, but all I'd be doing is repeating myself over and over again. I love workflows, I love workflows, I love workflows...

After the update I'm not seeing workflows in guides. I'm a cloud - essentials subscriber. Any suggestions?

Did you get an email about enabling the L8 features for subscribers?
Has the update downloaded and indexed?
Type "Update now" in the command bar to check if you're not sure.
I have not.
Updated and indexed.
Thanks!
Casey Jones: Updated and indexed. Thanks!
Great!
Are you seeing Workflows in the Guides menu now?
I'm sorry. I still don't see Workflows. Also, sorry for the lack of clarity. I was on break from class earlier and type in a hurry.
Casey, Workflows should be available for you if you've installed the Logos 8 update. You'll find them in the Guides menu. If you don't see them, restart the app and try again.

Adam, I ran "Update Now" indexed, and have restarted the app. I still don't see Workflows in guides.
Software version is 7.19.0.0009
Features Version8All
You aren't running Logos 8. Isn't it required for Workflows?
Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
Shouldn't I have access to it as a Essentials subscriber?
Casey,
Somewhat confusingly, just doing an "Update" within 7.19 won't get you 8. On the home page within Logos 7 desktop app, you should have a notification announcing Logos 8, with a "Get it now" link (or something like that). That will open your browser and walk you through a $0.00 order for Logos 8. At that point doing "Update" within Logos 7 will get you the upgrade to 8.

Thanks Donnie. I see the Logos 8 announcements, but no links except for one that takes me to the regular Logos 8 sales page.
Casey, you’re not alone. I still haven’t received that email.

Casey, as a Faithlife Connect user, you'll be upgraded automatically to Logos 8 on Nov. 5. However, you can opt into the upgrade by purchasing a free order from: https://store.faithlife.com/buy/169069.

I'm liking the workflows so far. I haven't customized any yet. I'm just going through the Inductive Bible study one and I like it. I thought it would be to rigid but it's working. I'm glad we're able to customize them, I might want to reorder some steps.
Jennifer,
Are you sure that is the right link? When I clicked on it this is what I see.
