Hello All,

What would be the minimum storage that I would need for using Logos on a Surface Pro?

Hey David, a lot of this depends on the size of your library. But here are the minimum Logos System Requirements: https://www.logos.com/system-requirements

    • Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 "Anniversary Update," Windows 10 Version 1607 or later (not compatible with Windows RT or Windows 10 S)
    • 2GB RAM
    • 1024x768 Display
    • 30GB Free Space - Internal HDD/SSD Only (may require additional space depending on your library)
    • Internet connection (for activation, updates, and some features)
Please Note: Network speeds will impact the time it takes to download your library. Slower connections will result in a longer download speeds.

You can check how much you are currently using on your computer.

My advice is to get as much as you can afford. Your Logos library will only ever grow. The index also takes up an awful lot of space. Even though the Surface is able to accept micro SD cards, you won't be able to use those for your Logos library. They just run too slow and weren't designed for the kind of intensive disk access that this Bible software requires.

That said, I love my 2016 Surface Pro for Bible study! Using the pen just feels right. I wish L8 would become more touch friendly, but with the pen, your fingers and an occasional assist from the virtual touchpad, you can do well.
